MAINTENANCE & CARE
Lava Stone
Lava stone is naturally dense, heat- and scratch-resistant. Protect the surface with coasters or placemats, and avoid heavy impacts. For outdoor use, shield the table with a breathable cover (sold separately) when not in use to protect from harsh weather. Avoid plastic wraps, harsh chemicals, and acidic substances that may compromise the stone.
Terrazzo
Terrazzo is both durable and decorative. Use coasters, placemats, or trivets for hot items, and avoid dropping heavy objects to prevent chips. For outdoor use, shield the table with a breathable cover (sold separately) when not in use to protect from harsh weather. Avoid plastic wraps and abrasive or acidic cleaners to preserve the surface.
CLEANING
For both materials, wipe daily with a soft, damp microfiber cloth. Treat spills promptly using warm water and a mild, pH-neutral detergent, then dry immediately. Stubborn stains can be gently cleaned with a stone-safe cleaner or soft brush. Always lift objects rather than sliding to prevent scratches.
HYGIENE & SAFETY
Sealed lava stone and terrazzo are non-porous, hygienic, and resistant to bacteria, mold, and mildew. They can be sanitized safely with diluted alcohol or mild disinfectants without affecting texture or color, suitable for indoor and outdoor use, including high-traffic areas.
