NodoItalia at Open Air Design: Frames of Nature
NodoItalia is pleased to participate in Open Air Design, the event dedicated to outdoor furniture and design, taking place in the “green heart” of Milan, at BAM – Biblioteca degli Alberi Milano, from September 18 to 21, 2025.
Making its debut at this fair, NodoItalia will present a unique installation featuring the Antonio Marras + NodoItalia capsule collection. Organized by COIMA Image and curated by MoscaPartners, Open Air Design explores the vital link between design, architecture, and art through installations, talks, and performances open to the public, all enhanced by the surrounding natural environment.
The theme of the 2025 edition, “Frames of Nature,” invites a broad exploration of creative expression, with a specific reference to cinema. Like design, cinema has the power to build new imaginaries, innovate aesthetic languages, and encourage change. NodoItalia’s participation confirms its deep commitment to design culture, supporting design thinking and promoting interdisciplinary dialogue.
The Installation: A Cinematic Retreat
Through the use of essential materials and shapes, the setup recreates an imagined open-air cinema space—a place conceived for connection, well-being, and communion with nature.
The collection tells a story of suspended, timeless beauty and creativity. It includes a generously sized armchair focused on comfort, matching poufs, round rugs, and an evocative screen-panel decorated with artistic, sensory textures inspired by the natural world.
With this dreamy and sensory setting, the NodoItalia installation transforms into an exclusive refuge within the Open Air Design experience—an ideal spot to take a pause and rediscover the simple, profound beauty of design immersed in nature.
